故事发生在三十年代的上海，欧阳日为私家侦探，后其父遭暗杀，欧阳日为父报仇展开侦查，发现最大嫌疑人竟是其童年好友关天培，在培妹佩佩的侦查下，才洗脱天培嫌疑。原来日父之死，是董家帮首领董一峰及其得力助手马群所为。群乃日军卧底，利用峰而挑起上海各帮会互相仇杀。 日之爱侣余婷遭马群绑架，利用婷祖父的医院做细菌实验，欲以此吞并中国。日在连番追查下，察觉到婷行为有异，日至此才发觉到，他所面对的是一项国际大阴谋。。The film follows the title character (Jonigkeit) as he navigates his search for a moral center, after an act of compassion upends his life. Looking to authority figures he encounters along the way — including his eventual cellmate, Gene (LaBeouf) — Henry’s journey leads him down a road of manipulation and ethical uncertainty.。
