很久以前，在广袤的西域大漠深处，有一个疯狂的沙魔王。他一心要把西域的森林、河流、草原、绿洲变成在他统治下的荒芜沙漠。为了挽救老百姓赖以生存的土地不被沙化，西域少年那萨尔丁和他的小伙伴巫拉、泱塔克（谷栗）、奥巴驴等在智者托克拉克指引下，决心到昆仑山去寻找传说中的胡杨树王种子，以遏制黄沙的蔓延。那萨尔丁和小伙伴们经历千辛万苦，用他们的智慧和勇敢战胜了重重困难，最终降伏沙魔王，拯救了西域。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
