《废柴联盟》男主Joel McHale将领衔FOX这部半小时工作地点单镜头喜剧。 本剧由《穆迪一家》主创Bob Fisher与Rob Greenberg，《全民追女王》编剧Dan Sterling共同打造。 顾名思义，本剧将围绕着一群负责动物管制官的日常工作和生活展开，所有人都在复杂的工作中认清了一个事实：动物是简单的，而人不是。 Joel将在剧中饰演“Frank”，一个固执、古怪的动物管制官，他或许没有上过大学，但仍然是房间里最博学的人。作为一名曾经的警员，Frank当时试图揭露自己部门的腐败事件缺最终导致他被解雇。这或许可以解释为什么他如此愤世嫉俗和脾气暴躁。在理解动物的方面，Frank展示了过人的能力；但面对同类…他或许不是那么精通。 《疯狂前女友》“Heather”Vella Lovell饰演“Emily”，一个招人喜欢、但偶尔也会有点迟钝尴...。1999年，澳门回归中国前。澳门司警马振成因惹上是非遭停职，警察生涯即将终结。马振成与伙计仍然夜蒲，盲打误撞遇上一名神秘少女张碧欣（梁洛施饰）。张碧欣随之跟着马振成回家，醉酒醒来的马振成以为自己与对方有了一夜情，再加上碧欣声称是他与初恋情人分手后生下的女儿，更加令马振成错愕不已。 碧欣因欠租数月以致无家可归，其心爱的狗狗伊莎贝拉亦被无良业主赶走，下落不明。身为父亲的马振成希望能弥补以往的责任，其后碧欣坚决要与马振成同住，令一向放浪的马振成生活顿起变化。 为求自保，马振成企图以身犯险令自己得以脱罪，他的好友杜Sir亦屡劝无效。张碧欣欢欣鼓舞地准备与父亲落草，对着同校男生也难掩得意之色。然而渐渐地马振成从张碧欣身上，体会到什么是责任。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
