讲述在韩国检察官之间将与凶杀案有关，暴力残酷尺度较大、禁止外流的证据影像称为“极秘档案”。制作人金秀灿得知录影带都被封印在检察厅地下保管室的传闻后，意外获得了相关的录影带，并决定以此为题材制作纪录片。其中，他发现录影带中所记录的1992年东城庄旅馆凶杀案，与1987年峨嵋洞一家凶杀案出奇的一致，究竟真相为何？。夏彤是一家珠宝店的导购，虽然她相貌不是很出众，但是心地善良，乐于助人，这一天，她在店里值班，恰好碰上店陆氏总裁陆廷叶购买珠宝，陆廷叶正好想找一位导购，于是恰好找上了她，看到这个女孩的名片，和小时候的青梅竹马夏彤一个名字，于是心生好感。An ambitious newspaper reporter (Dick Powell), eager to scoop the competition, wishes he could know the news before it happens.
