这天原本平静的森林里发生了一桩“大事”。正在捡松果的小松鼠偶遇到了护林员，却因其巨大的体型和陌生的外貌而被吓到，以为他是来破坏森林的坏人，小松鼠慌忙找到小熊猫开始了在林间游说小动物们帮忙抓坏人的旅途……。本片延续《我们的故事》系列，第三部以1979年为开端，横跨十多年至1980年代末的流金岁月。讲述林家第二代和邻居们一同从甘榜搬入政府组屋后的故事，经历新加坡环境、政策和民生的大变迁。 在姐姐过世后，阿坤（李国煌饰）改过自新，成为一名德士司机，和年轻一代的侄子顺发因为代沟常常发生冲突。80年代新加坡正实施多项改革政策，阿坤常常对政府的诸多政策感到不满，像是华文学校被迫关闭、新加坡精英制度等，结果决定和政府“唱反调”，成立反对党。众人的故事会如何收场？。This is a very bizarre fairy tale.
